Role Overview: Payroll Optimization Analyst

This role supports APAC Payroll Optimization initiatives, focusing on payroll data analysis, technology implementation, process improvement, and compliance. You will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and third-party payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing and efficiency improvements.

???? Ideal Candidate: A finance/payroll professional with 2+ years of experience in payroll operations, compliance, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Payroll Processing & Compliance

Accurately process payroll data and ensure timely payments.
Support payroll tax filing, remittance, and benefits administration.
Ensure legislative compliance and manage internal reporting requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) to maintain data integrity.

✔️ Data Analysis & Reporting

Develop and maintain payroll metrics & KPIs to monitor accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Analyze payroll data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement areas.
Prepare regular reports & presentations for management review.
Utilize data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for insights and reporting.

✔️ Process Improvement & Automation

Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
Lead payroll system standardization projects and manage third-party payroll vendors.
Implement tech solutions in collaboration with IT teams.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide updates to leadership.

✔️ Audit & Risk Management

Lead internal, regulatory, and statutory audits, ensuring compliance.
Maintain detailed documentation for auditors and regulatory bodies.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance control, compliance, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Education & Experience:

CA / MBA with 2+ years of experience OR Commerce Graduate with 2-5 years of experience in Finance or Financial Operations.
Experience managing third-party payroll vendors.

???? Technical Expertise:

Payroll compliance knowledge and experience with payroll systems.
Proficiency in Oracle & SAP (ERP tools).
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).
