Job Description

Position: Global New Accounts (GNA) Specialist

At Global New Accounts (GNA), we are responsible for reviewing and approving applications for both new and existing customers. As the first point of contact, our team provides a one-touch solution to U.S. customers. Since we do not have any counterpart teams outside of India, we take full ownership of delivering extraordinary customer service.

Our team consists of 150+ Customer Care Professionals (CCPs) who work both inbound and outbound, ensuring a seamless application process.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and error-free processing of card applications.
Provide exceptional service to U.S. card applicants and existing card members.
Review and analyze customer profiles, adhering to outlined procedures.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a willingness to go beyond the call of duty.
Maintain strict confidentiality of customer data and banking information.
Assist Audit, Internal, and Compliance functions during audits to identify and address control issues.
Act as a brand ambassador for American Express.
Support day-to-day New Account processes and contribute to new initiatives.
Work in 24x7 shifts as per business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
Proven ability to develop and execute effective communication plans for a broad audience.
Strong understanding of employee communication best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
Basic computer proficiency (mandatory).
