???? Reports to: Manager – Licenses & Permits, Gurgaon
✈️ Travel: Pan-India travel required


???? Job Summary:

Amazon is seeking an experienced Licenses & Permits Manager to support all Licensing & Permit (L&P) activities across its India network. This role plays a critical role in ensuring all necessary operational permits are acquired and renewed in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison among the internal teams including Legal, Launch, Facility, Procurement, and WHS.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement of Licenses & Permits for Amazon warehouses/facilities across India.

  • Handle license renewals for existing business facilities.

  • Coordinate with Legal, Facility, Procurement, WHS, and Launch teams to streamline L&P processes.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and resolve any issues of non-compliance in coordination with legal teams.

  • Prepare and manage Master Service Agreements (MSAs) for vendors.

  • Maintain regular updates and documentation related to license status and renewals.

  • Support seamless onboarding of new facilities by ensuring timely acquisition of business licenses.


???? Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)

  • Experience Required:

    • Minimum 5+ years in Licenses & Permits management, Reliability Program, or equivalent roles.

    • 5+ years of experience with team management, vendor management, budgeting, and client relations.

    • Experience with compliance, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical systems, and electronics & robotics is an added advantage.

    • 2+ years of Amazon experience (preferred if internal candidate)


???? Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of licensing, regulatory processes, and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and handle multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office tools.

  • Flexible to work on weekends, nights, or holidays, as per business requirements.
