Position Overview

As a Lead – Data Analytics & Process Improvement, you will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and staff wellbeing in Base Maintenance (BM) through data-driven insights and process improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in transforming business operations using data analytics, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and digital visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Process & Performance Improvement:

Utilize data analytics and process improvement methodologies to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance.
Advocate the adoption and optimization of visualization tools (e.g., Power Platform) for business insights.
Lead change management initiatives to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

✔ Data Governance & Business Insights:

Partner with the Manager – Business Insights & Development (Line Maintenance) to establish data frameworks, policies, and governance.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity for effective decision-making.
Develop digital management tools to generate insights and provide actionable recommendations.

✔ Project Management & Budgeting:

Oversee and monitor cross-BM projects to align with organizational goals.
Manage, prioritize, and support multiple projects to improve operational excellence.
Collaborate with BM teams to prepare budgets and monitor departmental expenses, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

✔ Team Leadership & Development:

Identify improvement opportunities and manage the full project lifecycle to implement optimal solutions.
Lead a team and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Support the professional growth and skill development of team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related fields.
Certification in Data Analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and Project Management is a plus.

✔ Experience:

10+ years of experience in airline engineering, base/line maintenance, or aircraft MRO organizations.
5+ years of experience in project management, Lean Six Sigma projects, or data-driven initiatives.
2+ years of managerial experience leading teams and projects.

✔ Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products and data visualization tools.
Strong knowledge of data analytics, Lean methodologies, and process improvement strategies.

✔ Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken & written).
