The Opportunity

CANDI is looking for an ambitious and energetic Junior Business Developer to lead the solar revolution. This role is crucial for early-stage client interactions, and strong performance will lead to a promotion to Business Developer.

???? Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Sales & Lead Generation

✔ Achieve sales targets through efficient sales strategies.
✔ Manage the entire sales cycle – from prospecting to closing deals.
✔ Build strong relationships with EPCs, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
✔ Implement sales strategies to meet business goals.
✔ Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to generate leads.

2️⃣ Deal Management

✔ Drive deals to successful closure by working with stakeholders on technical, financial, and regulatory aspects.
✔ Ensure client satisfaction and project delivery by coordinating with the engineering and support teams.

3️⃣ Customer Relationship Management

✔ Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.
✔ Work with the Asset Management team on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

4️⃣ Reporting & CRM

✔ Track sales metrics and trends to optimize sales strategies.
✔ Provide regular updates to management on sales performance.
✔ Maintain and update the company’s CRM tool (Salesforce).
✔ Contribute to the development of CANDI’s processes and SOPs.

5️⃣ Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

✔ Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and energy policies.
✔ Analyze competitors to identify differentiation opportunities.
✔ Gather pricing intelligence for better positioning.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Must-Have:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service.
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex solutions to non-experts.
✔ Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Tech-savvy – Comfortable using CRMs, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, Slack, and digital tools.
✔ Fluent in English (regional language proficiency is a plus).

???? Preferred:
✔ Knowledge of the solar industry, asset-based financing, and project development.
✔ Experience in international companies or studied/worked abroad.
