Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled VBA Macro Developer to design, develop, and maintain process automation tools using VBA, Excel Macros, Python, SQL, and Power BI. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, debugging existing tools, and continuously improving automation processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Automation

✅ Develop process automation tools using VBA, Excel Macros, Python, SQL, Power BI, and other necessary tools.
✅ Enhance and maintain existing VBA Macros, Python scripts, and SQL queries.
✅ Design and develop tools that are scalable, maintainable, and easy to enhance over time.
✅ Debug and resolve bugs/issues in automation tools in a timely manner.
✅ Write comprehensive documentation for new and existing automation tools.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

✅ Gather and interpret data from primary and secondary sources to analyze trends.
✅ Perform data profiling and root cause analysis to identify anomalies.
✅ Use data visualization techniques (e.g., Power BI dashboards) to present insights.
✅ Identify and define new process improvement opportunities for efficiency.
✅ Prepare reports on data summaries, trends, and changes for management review.

Collaboration & Workflow Management

✅ Work closely with stakeholders to define clear requirements and develop iteratively.
✅ Monitor overall workflow to ensure timely project completion.
✅ Assist in cross-functional team projects and special assignments.
✅ Track issues and work towards their resolution within and across departments.
✅ Assess areas of risk in new or changing processes and provide recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

???? VBA for Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) – Ability to create moderately complex macros from scratch, including UI and backend development.
???? Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) – Strong proficiency with Excel functions and automation.
???? Python (Intermediate to Advanced) – Experience in developing software solutions.
???? SQL (Basic to Intermediate) – Ability to develop and optimize SQL queries.
???? Power BI (Basic to Intermediate) – Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
???? Version Control (Git or similar) – Experience in tracking software changes.
???? Software Development Lifecycle (Agile & Testing) – Ability to test, debug, and iterate.
