Job Title: Jr. Data Analyst

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Only candidates residing in Mumbai may apply)

About the Role:

ISS STOXX is looking for a Jr. Data Analyst to join its Global Data Operations team. The role will support the delivery of high-quality data and research across four key pillars:

Core (Individual): Identity management, employment history
Core (Company): Board of directors, shareholder rights, audit findings
Compensation: Burn rate, dilution, equity proposals
Pay: Executive compensation and grants

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, verify, and analyze data of varying complexity for assigned markets
Ensure data accuracy by following collection methodologies and using verified sources
Respond to internal/client queries ensuring compliance with data methodology
Escalate complex data interpretation issues when needed
Conduct root-cause analysis on data discrepancies
Maintain internal documentation and performance metrics
Participate in cross-functional projects and committee tasks
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with ISS guidelines

Qualifications:

Education: Post-graduation in Finance or Economics (Fresh postgraduates are welcome to apply)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to work extended hours if required
Experience in corporate governance, business research, or data analysis is a plus
