Role Purpose:

As an Inventory Analyst, you will manage and reconcile refined products inventory. You will analyze and resolve exchange discrepancies, validate third-party invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting through reconciliation of pipeline, terminal, and in-transit inventories using SAP and other tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reconciliation of truck, bulk, and retail activity in ERP/IES tools.

  • Validate invoices and prepare coding templates for payment.

  • Research and resolve exchange, storage, and handling fee discrepancies.

  • Identify root causes for inventory imbalances and resolve them effectively.

  • Maintain relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors.

  • Support internal controls and compliance.

  • Reconcile non-ERP/IES tools data when necessary.

  • Quickly adapting to changing operational conditions.

  • Communicating complex issues clearly to varied stakeholders.

  • Solving multifaceted discrepancies through strong analytical thinking.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven ability to meet month-end deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.


Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience using WinDMS scheduling applications.

  • Familiarity with SAP and managing SAP interface queues.

  • Exposure to Product Supply Business processes.

  • General accounting and reconciliation experience.

  • Understanding of payables and receivables.
