We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Commercial) to join our Contracting team in Mumbai or Gurgaon. This role involves working closely with the Commercial Manager, Global Services Finance Team, and senior leadership to manage contracting, pricing, and financial analysis.
You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in project management and compliance with BCG’s policies while providing insights to drive commercial performance.
✅ Business Partnering:
Assist the business with pricing and commercial analysis for client deals.
Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with BCG’s contracting and pricing policies.
Support the Commercial Manager in preparing reports for leadership discussions.
Provide insightful analysis to enhance commercial performance.
Perform financial reconciliations and manage pre-legal and legal processes for collections.
Ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Work with Global Services and regional teams on data analysis and reporting.
✅ Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local office policies and global guidelines.
Support client negotiations and contract management, working with legal experts.
Implement risk management procedures such as segregation of duties and documentation control.
✅ Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on key financial metrics.
Monitor project revenue recognition and contract performance.
Identify trends and offer actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.
???? Education & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
5+ years of experience in a commercial finance role.
Experience in contract management, pricing, and financial analysis, ideally in the IT or consulting industry.
???? Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with Oracle or other large financial systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
???? Soft Skills:
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to work.
