J.P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for the position of Equity Research Analyst/Associate to join our India Equity Research team, covering the Technology, Internet, and Telecom sectors.

As an Analyst/Associate, you will assist in conducting fundamental industry analysis and company-specific coverage. Your role will involve analyzing earnings reports, regulatory filings, and market news, as well as building financial models and conducting valuation work. You will also collaborate with our trading and sales teams to provide client coverage and market insights.

This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and excellent communication abilities to effectively engage with management teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

???? Key Responsibilities

???? Equity Research & Analysis
✔ Conduct in-depth industry analysis and company-specific research in the India Technology, Internet, and Telecom sectors.
✔ Build financial models and perform forecasting and valuation analysis.
✔ Track and analyze earnings releases, regulatory filings, and industry developments.
✔ Write research notes, sector reports, and thematic analysis.

???? Client & Stakeholder Engagement
✔ Collaborate with internal and external clients to provide market updates and insights.
✔ Communicate research ideas effectively to investors, tailoring information based on client needs.
✔ Plan fact-finding trips, investor meetings, and channel checks based on client requests.

???? Market Strategy & Risk Management
✔ Work with cross-sector teams to contribute to thematic research reports.
✔ Suggest innovative investment strategies to strengthen the firm's market position.
✔ Follow J.P. Morgan’s risk management policies and comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.

???? Required Skills & Qualifications

???? Essential Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, data analysis).
✔ Strong writing and communication skills.
✔ Deep interest in financial markets and industry-specific coverage.

???? Preferred Qualifications:
✔ 3+ years of research experience (preferred).
✔ CFA certification or progress toward one is advantageous.
