Role Overview:

As the Sales Manager for Surveillance Products in India, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration across the region. By leveraging your deep understanding of the surveillance industry and established network within the Indian market, you will help achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for surveillance products in South India.

    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and product positioning.

  • Team Leadership and Mentorship:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.

    • Work closely with pre-sales and solution teams to ensure seamless collaboration and sales execution.

  • Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and distribution channels, to expand market reach.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

    • Monitor performance metrics, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure sales targets are met.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business goals.


Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Experience:

    • At least 7 years of experience in sales management within the surveillance products industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements in India.

    • Proven success in achieving sales targets and leading a sales team to deliver exceptional results.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

    • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

    • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Travel:

    • Ability to travel extensively within South India.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in surveillance, security, and IoT (Internet of Things).
