About the Role:

This position sits within the Finance FP&A organization and is accountable for delivering financial planning, performance management, and strategic business partnering for a specific Business/Function. You will work closely with technical and finance teams across different time zones to provide critical insights that drive decision-making and business value.


Key Responsibilities:

???? Performance Management

  • Prepare timely, accurate, and reliable financial/management reports

  • Deliver performance commentary and insights to drive profitability

  • Support performance management agendas and cost optimization efforts

???? Business Partnering & Insight Generation

  • Develop strong relationships with Business/Function leadership

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality forecasts and performance tracking

  • Track cost reduction initiatives and provide profitability analysis

???? Actuals & Variance Analysis

  • Analyze and explain variances in actuals vs. forecasts

  • Highlight performance gaps and suggest corrective actions

???? Business Planning & Reporting

  • Coordinate quarterly and long-term business plans

  • Analyze data from SAP and visualize using Power BI/Tableau

  • Prepare insightful presentations and respond to stakeholder queries

????️ Joint Venture Management

  • Support AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) preparation for JV partner approval

???? Economic Evaluation & Scenario Analysis

  • Conduct economic viability assessments for new projects

  • Identify value drivers and financial risks/rewards

???? Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve performance management tools/processes

  • Promote standardization and simplification across FP&A functions


Qualifications & Experience:

???? Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering (required)

  • MBA / CA / ICWA / Cost Accounting (preferred)

???? Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Preferred: Experience in global/matrixed organizations (Oil & Gas, Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing)


Must-Have Skills:

✅ Knowledge of financial planning processes (Plan to Perform)
✅ Strong analytical, reporting, and performance insight capabilities
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Power BI or Tableau
✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure

  • Finance professionals within the FP&A team

  • Business/Function leadership teams

  • Onsite local finance teams and technical stakeholders
