Accounting Qualification: M.Com, ICWA, CA, or MBA in Finance
More than 4 years of experience in the Pharmacy or Retail sector
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, transaction-oriented environment.
Excellent IT skills, with mastery of MS Office.
Advanced Excel knowledge.
Experience in building and automating reports.
Comfortable working with large data sets.
Confident and a quick learner.
Hands-on experience with accounting systems.
Significant experience working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
A team player with a flexible attitude.
Analytical and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
Positive, proactive attitude, and enjoys problem-solving and completing tasks.
Good English communication skills, as a high level of collaboration is required.
Finance Liaison & Performance Analysis:
Act as the finance liaison for the wholesale division, using your knowledge of pharmacy operations and financial performance to add value.
Partner with wholesale management teams to analyze and challenge P&L and KPIs, providing timely and accurate financial reporting. Focus on the links between financial and operational performance.
Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze wholesale performance against budget and prior year, providing key insights to the operational teams to assist in decision-making.
Assist in the month-end process by providing analysis and commentary on KPIs in draft accounts.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the wholesale business, ensuring strong budget development with wholesale teams.
Provide key finance and analytical support for future business investments, focusing on pre-investment analysis and potential payback periods.
Cost Control & Recommendations:
Implement cost control initiatives, helping to understand pharmacy portfolio costs and suggesting corrective actions to improve future spending.
Guide, oversee, and review reports to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Strong finance and analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
Expertise in managing financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting within the pharmacy or retail sector.
Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams to drive financial performance.
Vadodara, Gujarat: Relocation or commuting to the office is required.
