About the Role

Veye Research Private Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience in stock market analysis, financial modelling, and report writing. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in equity research and financial analysis, working closely with experienced analysts and gaining exposure to top-performing ASX-listed companies.

Roles & Responsibilities

✔ Analyze key listed companies and sectors in the Australian Stock Market (ASX).
✔ Support the preparation of research reports such as Daily Analysis, Stock of the Week, and Dividend Investor Reports.
✔ Monitor the performance of stocks and sectors using fundamental and technical analysis.
✔ Assist in developing financial models (DCF, three-way modelling) and forecasting financial statements.
✔ Gain exposure to company management teams and internal sales teams.
✔ Conduct research and assist in presenting findings through written reports and presentations.
✔ Collaborate with senior analysts to analyze market trends and make recommendations.

Skills & Experience Required

✅ Strong analytical skills with a passion for financial modelling and research report writing.
✅ Basic understanding of equity research with experience in financial statements, stock analysis, and financial markets.
✅ Familiarity with technical analysis tools (Candlestick charts, MACD, RSI, Moving Averages, etc.).
✅ Knowledge of financial valuation, market trends, and forecasting stock prices.
✅ Good communication skills (written & verbal) for presenting findings effectively.
✅ Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and learn proactively.
✅ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
✅ Keen interest in stock markets, financial analysis, and investment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

???? Pursuing or completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
???? Basic understanding of financial markets and stock valuation methods.
???? Previous exposure to stock market analysis or internships in financial research (preferred but not mandatory).
