Full Job Description:

Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Position: Information Partner, Land Information Examiner

The Group: The North American Land team demonstrates exceptional teamwork and collaboration. Each member plays a critical role, consistently supporting one another to achieve our objectives seamlessly and efficiently. Embracing a 'Client First' philosophy, we ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly and effectively to their needs.

Responsibilities and Impact: As a Land and Leasing expert in Canada, the Subject Matter Expert (SME) will also require expertise in databases and related technologies to:

Define data transformation rules to guide developers' work.
Ensure the quality of land and lease data through both manual and automated testing.
Analyze and resolve technical issues or barriers in daily land processes.
Address concerns and requests from external and internal clients.
Learn and utilize in-house land software as needed.
Maintain quality standards and develop optimization strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of North American Land and Lease domain.
Proficiency in relational databases and strong SQL querying skills.
At least one of the following degrees:
- Geoscience certifications (Geology, Oil, Geophysics)
- Petroleum Land Management degree
- Computer Science degree
- Other technical degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be observant, organized, analytical, and results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate positively with team members and colleagues at all levels.

Additional Qualifications: 3 to 10 years of experience in:

Oil and Gas industry
Spatial data
Agile development environment
