Position Overview

A Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assist the organization in making informed decisions. This role requires expertise in statistical techniques, data visualization, and strong communication skills to present findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Preparation
- Gather data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, or manual entry).
- Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Data Analysis
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, Apache, Postgres, or other analytics platforms to analyze data.
Data Visualization
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in an easily understandable format.
Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across the organization to identify data needs and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with IT or engineering teams to maintain and improve data pipelines.
Problem Solving & Decision Support
- Analyze business problems and provide data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience in Apache, Superset, Airflow, Postgres, Spark, Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark.
