Job Description

Position: Merchant Fund Release Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of merchant fund release requests. It involves conducting research, reconciling merchant accounts, and handling inbound and outbound calls (80/20 ratio).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review merchant requests, ranging from simple to complex cases.

  • Conduct research and reconciliation of merchant accounts.

  • Partner with internal teams and client managers to handle merchant requests effectively.

  • Provide service and support to multiple teams, including Processors, MS TSC, Banking, SRG/KOAT, Contract Review, Submissions, ESSU, CMS, Acquisition, Network Development, Risk Management, and Welcome Acceptance.

  • Review, understand, and apply business and legal documents such as Articles of Incorporation, Business Licenses, Guarantee Agreements, IRS documents, AMEX Terms & Conditions, and PAD Agreements.

  • Ensure strict adherence to deadlines for enhanced merchant experience.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and collaboration skills.

  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exhibit self-direction, excellent follow-through, and high urgency in customer service.

  • Interact professionally with clients at all levels.

  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to evaluate merchant information effectively.

  • Strong result orientation and decision-making abilities.

  • Capacity to meet stringent deadlines.

  • Demonstrated dependability and responsibility.
