Progressive Technology is seeking a skilled Crane Driver to join our dynamic team for an exciting construction project in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment to facilitate the lifting, lowering, and movement of materials on the construction site. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, possesses excellent operational knowledge, and is committed to contributing to the successful completion of the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Operate cranes and heavy equipment to move materials as required by project specifications.
Inspect cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition before use.
Follow safety protocols and perform regular maintenance checks on equipment.
Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
Safely and accurately transport materials to designated locations.
Maintain operation logs and record equipment maintenance activities.
Adhere to environmental and safety regulations on the job site.
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Assist in positioning and lifting materials for construction processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Crane Driver or heavy equipment operator.
Valid crane operating license or certification (as per local regulations).
In-depth knowledge of crane operations, safety practices, and construction processes.
Excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes or other heavy equipment in a construction setting.
Previous experience with large-scale construction projects is preferred.
Familiarity with different types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower) is a plus.

Working Hours

Full-time position.
Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs.
