Job Overview

We are looking for a Controlling & Planning CoE Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This role will report to the Team Lead as part of the Controlling & Planning CoE. The ideal candidate will provide financial planning and controlling expertise, analyze business performance, and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

???? Financial Analysis & Reporting
✔ Analyze business performance vs. budget & forecast.
✔ Conduct benchmarking of key performance indicators.
✔ Partner with local controllers to analyze financial drivers.
✔ Perform "what-if" scenario and sensitivity analysis.
✔ Analyze overhead under/over absorption and root causes.
✔ Prepare Product/Customer profitability reports.
✔ Track and analyze Capital Expenditure budget & actual spending.
✔ Review inventories, Net Working Capital (NWC), and Cashflow.
✔ Support month-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy.
✔ Perform P&L and Balance Sheet review and propose necessary corrections.

???? Data & Internal Controls
✔ Convert monthly MIS data into meaningful insights.
✔ Ensure internal controls and SOX audit compliance.
✔ Compare monthly/quarterly MIS data against benchmarks.
✔ Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
✔ Validate financial data accuracy via reconciliation and exception review.

???? Process Optimization & KPIs
✔ Develop automated solutions to improve productivity.
✔ Standardize processes/reports across divisions and business units.
✔ Ensure adherence to Controlling & Planning KPIs.

???? Other Responsibilities
✔ Assist with ad hoc assignments based on urgency and business needs.
✔ Summarize data and prepare reports & presentations for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

???? Education:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CMA/CA/MBA preferred).

???? Experience:
✔ Up to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
✔ Manufacturing industry background preferred.

???? Technical Skills:
✔ SAP FICO (including CO-PA) expertise; familiarity with SD, PP, MM, PS modules.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
✔ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
✔ Effective communication & presentation abilities.
✔ Detail-oriented & deadline-driven approach.
