Job Description: Compliance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Review and resolve daily compliance alerts/warnings related to batch compliance and trading strategy controls.
Monitor portfolio transactions and holdings for compliance with investment restrictions; report and follow up on any breaches.
Prepare supporting documentation to demonstrate effective compliance processes and controls.
Maintain the Compliance Block facility, ensuring systems are accurately updated.
Handle queries from regional compliance teams and front office personnel.
Conduct daily manual compliance tasks outside the Order Management System (OMS).
Perform list updates on OMS platforms.
Assist with compliance monitoring activities, internal testing, reporting, and documentation.
Support Compliance-related projects and special assignments.
Monitor and report fund overdrafts using reconciliation and CRD reports, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with global compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment and best practices.

Required Work Experience

0–2 years of experience (preferably in asset management, investment advisory, or mutual fund compliance roles).
Exposure to regulatory environments including SEC, ERISA, CSSF, and FCA.
Familiarity with Equity, Fixed Income, ETF Products, and fund structures (UCITS, 40 Act Funds, Institutional Products).

Qualifications

Education:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA / CA / Degree in Finance or Commerce
- CFA or FRM (preferred)
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Exposure to compliance systems such as Charles River, Bloomberg, Aladdin, or LZ Sentinel
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required
