About the Role – GOCM Team

The Global Operations Capacity Management (GOCM) Team is responsible for key operational processes, including:

  • Inventory Management
  • Prohance Management
  • Scheduling & Shrinkage Planning
  • Real-Time Management
  • Local Site Support Services

The GOCM team receives long-term and short-term capacity plans and forecasts from the Workforce Planning team across all markets and lines of business. Our primary responsibility is to convert these plans into weekly and daily operational strategies to optimize resources and drive efficiency across the network.

GOCM capabilities support CFN inbound, outbound, and back-office functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis on key metrics to maximize productivity and operational excellence.
  • Create reports and analytics using multiple American Express data sources.
  • Lead and drive projects to achieve results within stringent timelines.
  • Develop and implement network-level inventory strategies for the CFN Business Unit.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Minimum tenure requirement:
    • B28: 18 months
    • B30: 12 months
  • Annual PMP Rating: G3/L3 or better
  • No active counseling at the time of application

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MIS, business/data analytics, capacity planning, dialer, inventory management, service level planning, or workforce management
  • Working knowledge of Python, Tableau, Sisense, and SQL

  • Ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines
  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn and understand business processes
  • Critical thinker with strong judgment and intuition—knows when to question outcomes or seek clarification
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, capable of working with minimal supervision
