Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Optum. In this role, you will contribute to the company’s mission by providing exceptional service to our global clients, focusing on resolving customer and broker queries, and ensuring compliance with our internal processes and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performance Targets: Meet standard performance targets like Quality, TAT (Turnaround Time), and NPS (Net Promoter Score).
Customer Support: Resolve customer and broker queries through email or call, ensuring clear communication.
Process Improvement: Communicate process failures and propose remediation plans, including developing solutions in various mediums such as verbal, writing, and PowerPoint.
Adhoc Tasks: Take on additional responsibilities as needed and effectively execute adhoc tasks.
Process Expertise: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Eligibility process and provide feedback to leadership on process gaps.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and information security standards.
Flexibility: Be adaptable to business needs, including the potential for reassignment, changes in teams, or shifts.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Graduation completed with no active backlogs.
Technical Skills: Solid computer skills, with proficiency in MS applications and keyboarding.
Proficiency: Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand US accent and healthcare terminology.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
Night Shift Adaptability: Ability to work permanent night shifts and extended hours as required.
Independence: Ability to work independently and adhere to all process guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Accounts Receivables, Billing, and Collections experience is preferred.
