About the Position

As an Associate Analyst I, you will work with banks and non-bank financial institutions to detect and investigate financial crimes. Your primary role involves monitoring account activity, conducting KYC reviews, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

This role requires discretion, analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

???? Financial Crime Detection & Analysis:

  • Evaluate and monitor transactional activity for potential suspicious activity.
  • Identify and escalate red flags related to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations.

???? Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedures:

  • Verify client identities to understand their relationship with financial institutions.
  • Review client files to ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements.

???? Compliance & Reporting:

  • Interpret and implement client operating policies regarding financial data.
  • Adhere to regulatory policies, operational procedures, and timeframes to ensure accurate work completion.
  • Submit detailed reports and written summaries for quality control review.

???? Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative work culture and adapt to changing priorities.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word with the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team.

Work Schedule
