Job description

Position Title: Assistant Manager Sales / Sales Manager

Industry: Hotels & Restaurants
Department: Food, Beverage & Hospitality
Location: Hybrid (Himachal Pradesh / Punjab / Chandigarh / New Delhi)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000 - ₹60,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Shift: Day Shift
Supplemental Pay: Performance Bonus


Job Responsibilities

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market opportunities.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.

4. Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and collective targets.

  • Provide training and guidance to enhance team performance.

5. Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.

6. Events and Networking:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the hotel.

  • Network with key stakeholders and participate in promotional activities.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.

  • Familiarity with new marketing software.

  • Minimum Experience: 6 years in Hotel Sales and Hospitality.
