Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Diagnostic Products
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand


The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales and promotion of Diagnostic products, including instruments and reagents, across four main product lines:

  • Biochemistry – Reagents & Equipment (e.g., Analyzer, BTR)

  • Immunology – Blood Banking Kits (e.g., HIV, HCV, HBsAg, Thyroids)

  • Haematology – Equipment & Reagents

  • Microbiology – Equipment & Reagents


What We’re Looking For:

Education:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology

Experience:

  • 8–10 years of experience in the Diagnostic industry


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales targets and maintain product mix and collections

  • Promote and provide technical details of products to customers

  • Secure Annual Rate Contracts with government institutes in the territory

  • Participate in tendering and bid preparation

  • Manage and coordinate with channel sales partners

  • Oversee account receivables and provide transfer pricing to the Regional Manager

  • Ensure net contribution is maintained, even if pricing goes below norms (with necessary approvals)

  • Track and report competitor activities within the territory

  • Submit weekly activity updates to the reporting manager
