The US Consumer Services Control Management Specialized Risk Management Team ensures that risk management is effectively embedded in daily business operations. This role provides subject matter expertise on operational risks and supports business units (BU) in identifying, mitigating, and managing these risks.
As an Analyst, Specialized Risk Management, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and programs related to specific risk types (e.g., AEMP10 – Third-Party Management Policy). You will collaborate with multiple partners across different business units, functions, and geographies.
Assist in day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and risk programs.
Support integration of decentralized risk types into broader Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and programs.
Compile and analyze topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.
Assist in creating and distributing training materials to enhance risk awareness within US Consumer Services.
Support in designing and implementing controls tailored to specialized risk areas.
Research and gather topical risk knowledge to strengthen business unit risk management processes.
Monitor risk strategies and procedures, aligning them with business and regulatory changes.
Collect and analyze operational risk insights, best practices, and industry themes to enhance ORM strategies.
1-2 years of experience in operational risk management, risk and compliance, or internal audit functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and assess risk scenarios.
Experience in process governance and ensuring decision-making aligns with policies and regulations.
Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related fields; MBA or certifications (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance) are a plus.
Experience in one or more of the following:
Ensuring compliance with enterprise risk policies and enhancing procedures.
Supporting the integration of decentralized risk types into larger risk frameworks.
Assisting in risk strategy development based on regulatory and business changes.
