Role Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the North American Accounts Payables process by following Process Descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per statutory requirements. You will work within a dynamic team to ensure smooth and accurate accounts payable functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing:

    • Process PO & Non-PO invoices in Oracle.

    • Reconcile AP/GRNI accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

    • Handle Write-off transactions and run Hold & Accruals reports.

    • Create KPI and measurement reports and statistics.

    • Perform Daily Controls to ensure accurate and timely processing.

  • Vendor Master Management:

    • Set up new vendors and make necessary vendor modifications.

    • Manage the Vendor Mailbox for all communication.

    • Maintain email correspondence related to vendor queries.

  • Travel and Expense Management:

    • Process Employee Card claims and Employee cash claims.

    • Prepare Month-end accruals and handle travel-related expense reporting.

    • Respond to Email inquiries and provide assistance related to employee claims.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Create and maintain self-assessment tests.

    • Run and create necessary financial reports for the department.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Work Experience:

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience or a degree based in finance.

    • Industry experience in BPO or related financial services.

  • Education:

    • B.Com/M.Com/MBA or equivalent degree in finance.

  • Functional Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of finance and A/P bookkeeping processes.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Proficiency in using Oracle and SAP or other integrated financial software.

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
