Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Work Mode: Hybrid (On-site 3 days/week)

Role Overview

This role is part of the team managing the Incentives Administration Process for the Global Servicing Group (GSG) at American Express. The Process Manager will be responsible for accurate and timely monthly incentive processing, business analysis, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Incentives domain and be skilled in data analysis, process automation, and reporting tools.


Key Responsibilities

Incentives Processing & Compliance:

  • Ensure monthly incentives are calculated as per defined policy guidelines.
  • Adhere to control and compliance requirements on a monthly basis.
  • Support internal and external incentive-based audits for assigned markets.
  • Perform annual updates to all compensation business rules.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:

  • Develop business insights using Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.).
  • Implement Excel automation, multi-layered Excel equations, charts, and pivots to improve incentive processing.
  • Design and develop dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.

Process Optimization & Automation:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency improvements in the Incentives Programs.
  • Partner with multiple teams including Incentive Design & Governance, Operational Performance Management, and Incentive Plus Teams.
  • Align incentive programs with evolving business strategies.
  • Drive process efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

  • Manage customer interactions with global leadership teams (B35/B40 levels).
  • Prepare and present monthly reports to key stakeholders.
  • Convert business language into logical workflows for seamless implementation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in compensation processing, incentive management, or financial data analysis.
  • Proven ability to align data needs with business strategies.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (automation, multi-layered equations, charts, pivots).
  • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx for reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Strong SQL query writing skills (preferred).
  • Proficiency in data reporting tools to generate and maintain complex reports.

Behavioral & Leadership Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex business processes efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in designing and implementing quality control frameworks.
