Job Overview

As a Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst, you will collaborate with business and IT teams to:
✅ Identify value, scope, features, and delivery roadmaps for data engineering products.
✅ Work closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to align business objectives.
✅ Drive data analysis, workflow assessment, and future state data modeling.
✅ Support the architecture, governance, and program management teams in delivering scalable digital data assets.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Business Impact

✔ Perform data & workflow analysis to assess the business impact of changes.
✔ Create current and future state data flow diagrams.
✔ Collaborate with development, architecture, and governance teams to ensure a scalable and reliable data infrastructure.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Product Scope

✔ Work with key stakeholders to define business value and prioritize product features.
✔ Manage product backlog & technical debt, defining a clear delivery roadmap.

Agile & Testing Support

✔ Develop user stories and non-functional requirements following agile best practices.
✔ Define acceptance criteria, review test cases, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
✔ Partner with the QA team to ensure thorough functionality testing.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

???? BE, B.Tech, or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.

Experience & Technical Skills:

✔ 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
✔ Strong SQL query writing skills on RDBMS or cloud-based databases.
✔ Expertise in data visualization tools (Spotfire, Power BI, QuickSight, etc.).
✔ Experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, and business impact assessment.
✔ Solid understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration & delivery.
✔ AWS Certification (Preferred).
✔ Experience in data engineering within the transportation/airline industry is a plus.

Soft Skills:

✅ Strong problem-solving & analytical thinking.
✅ Detail-oriented, creative, and data-driven mindset.
✅ Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (written & spoken).
✅ Punctual, reliable attendance is an essential function of the role.
