As part of the Global Servicing Group (GSG) – Control Management Team, your role will focus on:
Safeguarding the American Express brand and assets.
Ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory expectations.
Driving oversight and control mechanisms to enable a seamless customer experience.
As an Analyst, Control Management Reporting & Analytics, you will:
Support Regulatory Business Self Testing (RBST) and Procedural Business Self Testing (PBST) monitoring programs for GSG.
Manage risk and controls to ensure compliance with global legal and regulatory requirements.
Partner with internal teams to support data requests and define reporting requirements.
Execute data analysis and reporting with precision and accuracy to maintain a high level of governance and risk management.
Develop and deliver Regulatory/Governance reports for testing, compliance, and frontline teams using big data platforms (LUMI, Cornerstone), SAS/SQL, Python, etc.
Collaborate with business, compliance, and testing teams to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Prepare monthly insights reports for senior leadership using PowerPoint.
Create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
Ensure timely and accurate responses for audit and regulatory requests.
Identify and drive process automation for efficiency improvements.
Work with global teams to evaluate and enhance processes and systems.
Communicate business problems effectively and implement solutions.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in SQL/HQL, Python, and Power BI (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in data visualization using Tableau.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and evaluate risk.
Knowledge of Data Management and ODL, with the ability to resolve ingestion issues.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work within tight deadlines.
Prior experience in GSG (Global Servicing Group).
Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvements.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
