???? Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Corporate Marketing professional to take independent charge of various M&A functions, including:

  • Executing business development strategies for target sectors/clients.

  • Leading financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for M&A products and deals.

  • Supporting the SBU Head in strategic initiatives and business development efforts.


???? Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in financial sector, equity research house, or investment banking firms.

  • Preference for candidates with experience working closely with senior management or chairman's office.

  • MBA/PGDM - Finance from a premier institute.

  • CA/CFA with articleship experience from Big 4 accounting firms.

???? Principal Accountabilities

Strategy:

  1. Execute business development strategies for target sectors/clients in M&A products/deals.

  2. Lead the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for management and the board of directors.

  3. Assist the SBU Head with developing broader strategic initiatives.

  4. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex data.

  5. Develop and update sector reports for strategic planning.

Research and Prospecting:

  1. Monitor industry M&A developments and assess implications for Singhi Advisors.

  2. Identify and evaluate potential acquisition and investment opportunities.

  3. Research and approach merger and acquisition targets through various channels, including internet prospecting, referrals, and networking.

  4. Develop financial models to value debt and equity for mergers and acquisitions.

  5. Prepare and review financing materials, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.

  6. Create presentations for clients’ portfolios and ensure monthly submissions.

Analytics:

  1. Execute industry analysis of prospects, focusing on growth, competitors, and market share.

  2. Coordinate due diligence, analysis, and documentation for live transactions.

  3. Submit reports analyzing company fundamentals and financial statements.

  4. Track key metrics and support project management of M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and internal approval.

  5. Assist with preparation and presentation of materials supporting M&A strategy.

  6. Participate in legal negotiations regarding transaction-related contracts.

Collaboration:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of identified sectors with high M&A potential and build relationships with key players.

  2. Maintain healthy relationships throughout the M&A deal lifecycle, ensuring future business potential.

  3. Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to identify new mandates.

  4. Responsible for presenting Monthly SBU MIS to senior management.
