Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the financial sector, equity research house, or investment banking firms

  • Experience working closely with senior management or being a key member of the chairman’s office is preferred


Qualification:

  • MBA/PGDM in Finance from a premier institute

  • CA/CFA (with Articleship experience from Big 4 accounting firms)

Job Purpose:

To strengthen Singhi Advisors' corporate marketing team and support M&A product/deal strategies for targeted sectors/clients, conducting financial research and analysis, and assisting senior leadership with strategic initiatives.


Principal Accountabilities:

Support Activities:

  • Execute business development strategies for target sectors/clients in M&A deals

  • Lead preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for management and the board

  • Assist with strategic initiatives and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of data

  • Develop and update detailed sector reports

Research and Prospecting:

  • Monitor industry M&A developments and assess their implications for the firm

  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition and investment opportunities

  • Research and approach merger/acquisition targets through multiple channels (e.g., networking, database searches)

  • Develop financial models for valuation of debt/equity in M&A transactions

  • Prepare and review materials for client financing (e.g., investment memoranda, pitchbooks)

Analytics:

  • Conduct industry analysis to understand growth, competitors, and market share possibilities

  • Coordinate due diligence, analysis, and documentation for live transactions

  • Track key metrics and manage M&A transaction projects (due diligence, valuation, negotiations)

  • Assist with the preparation of materials supporting M&A strategy and presentations

Collaboration:

  • Develop a deep understanding of high M&A potential sectors and build relationships with decision-makers

  • Maintain healthy relationships during M&A deals from formulation to execution to ensure future business potential

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new mandates

  • Present monthly SBU MIS (Management Information System)
