Job Title: Analyst
Department: Formulation Analytical R&D
Grade: B/C
Reporting To: GM
Location: Granules – Gagillapur Plant, Hyderabad, Telangana


Purpose

Provide support as a team member in the Analytical R&D department, responsible for Analytical development works.


Responsibilities

  • Analytical Development Support:

    • Support Analytical development in accordance with the New Product Development (NPD) plan.

    • Assist the team lead in planning and directing activities within Analytical Development and collaborate with other R&D functional areas.

    • Interact with Production, QA, and Validation departments to produce R&D stability batches per schedule to ensure regulatory approval and commercial success of new products.

  • Analysis & Method Management:

    • Manage HPLC and GC analysis.

    • Review analytical test methods, development reports, specifications, STP’s, calibration of instruments, elemental impurities assessments, residual solvents declaration statements, COA’s, and other related documents.

  • Day-to-Day Lab Operations:

    • Plan and schedule activities.

    • Approve ATRs and ensure compliance of instruments (calibration, re-qualification, and preventive maintenance).

    • Manage stability studies and decide on data for regulatory submissions.

    • Investigate incidents, OOS/OOT, and review associated reports.

  • Method Validation & Compliance:

    • Perform method validations per USP/ICH guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.

    • Maintain traceable documentation in the department.

    • Review audit trails for data generated in the ARD.

  • Team Coordination & Continuous Improvement:

    • Align the ARD team towards FR&D requirements and ensure the fulfillment of project goals as per timelines.

    • Coordinate with internal customers and stakeholders to resolve analytical issues and manage complex matters.

    • Attend technical training and support continuous improvement in existing procedures, practices, and compliance.

  • Department Management & Safety:

    • Ensure safety in the workplace.

    • Foster teamwork and empowerment while promoting AR&D values such as creativity, integrity, excellence, perseverance, flexibility, and respect.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.

  • 3-8 years of experience in Analytical Research and Development within the pharmaceutical industry.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of impurities quantification.

  • Experience working in a generic pharmaceutical company.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, GLPs, and GCPs principles.
