Position Overview

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This role involves space planning, material selection, client interaction, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

????️ Design Development

✔ Assist in the conceptualization and development of design ideas.
✔ Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and material boards for client presentations.
✔ Conduct site visits and measurements for project planning.

???? Space Planning

✔ Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
✔ Develop optimized layouts that enhance functionality and aesthetics.

???? Material & Product Selection

✔ Research and source materials, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories.
✔ Assist in presenting material and product selections to clients.

???? Client Interaction

✔ Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
✔ Communicate design ideas effectively and incorporate client feedback.

???? Project Coordination

✔ Collaborate with contractors, architects, and professionals to execute design plans.
✔ Monitor project progress and address issues or changes as they arise.

????️ Administrative Support

✔ Maintain organized project files, documents, and design archives.

Qualifications & Requirements

???? Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture.
????️ Experience: 0-2 years in interior design (professional experience preferred).
???? Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-ray, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office.
???? Creativity: Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail and color.
???? Communication: Excellent verbal & written skills.
???? Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
???? Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team.
???? Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
???? Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design projects and technical skills.

⭐ Bonus Skills:
✔ Knowledge of building codes & industry standards is a plus.
✔ Willingness to travel to project sites & client meetings as needed.
