Key Responsibilities

Academic & Instructional Duties:

Prepare daily and long-term lesson plans in line with curriculum guidelines.
Deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ interests, coordination, and abilities using creative activities.
Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through varied assessment tools.
Provide constructive feedback and maintain positive relationships with students.
Discuss student progress with parents, administrators, and relevant stakeholders.
Continuously reflect on and improve teaching practices.

Classroom & Behaviour Management:

Maintain discipline and cultivate productive learning habits.
Supervise students throughout the day, including during breaks and activities.
Ensure that classrooms display updated worksheets, class and bus lists, timetables, and relevant notices.
Encourage students to maintain classroom cleanliness.
Assign and manage student roles such as class captains for various duties.

Administrative & School Participation:

Participate in school activities including excursions, sports events, concerts, and camps.
Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Prepare clear lesson plans and instructions for substitute teachers when on leave.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends and teaching methodologies.

Classroom Management Guidelines

Display essential documents (timetable, homework schedule, assessment plan) visibly in the classroom.
Teachers on planned leave must provide detailed classwork instructions.
Foster student responsibility and ownership of classroom cleanliness and order.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate or Postgraduate with Maths specialization.
D.Ed/B.Ed is mandatory.
Age: 25 – 40 years
Experience: 4 – 6 years, including 2–3 years teaching junior/middle grades in reputed schools
