Role Overview:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you'll be the custodian of product quality, ensuring smooth releases and a bug-free experience for both internal and external users. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, automating the test cycle for ERP systems and customer-facing products. You’ll also collaborate with engineering and product leadership teams to deliver top-tier software.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and execute comprehensive test strategies for our products.
Automate product testing for internal ERP systems and customer-facing lines.
Perform regression testing, feature testing, and sprint testing.
Work with Postman collections and test RESTful APIs.
Ensure smooth releases and report and validate fixes.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on TDD philosophy.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

Strong testing skills with an ability to break systems and products.
Experience in regression, feature, and sprint testing.
Ability to work with Postman collections for testing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (pytest, junit, node tests, JavaScript, Python).
Experience with MySQL databases.
Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Good to Have Skills:

Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Postman test scripts, Espresso, JMeter, and Mockito.
Ability to automate testing of microservices, SOA platforms, frontend web, and mobile apps.
Proven experience working with development teams to create test data and mock JSONs.

Candidate Profile:

Driven to release bug-free products.
Strong logical approach to test systems, break products, and ensure quality.
Comfortable with long working hours (10-12 hours daily) and fast-paced work environments.
Willing to work 5 days a week from the office in Delhi.
Experience testing enterprise products for at least 10-12 months.

Recruitment Process:

Aptitude Test: A one-hour test with basic math aptitude, descriptive questions, and technical queries.
Personal Interviews: 3 detailed interview rounds.

Additional Information:

Office Location: Connaught Place, Delhi
Work Hours: 9:30 AM onwards, expect 10-12 hours daily.
Work Environment: High-paced, with the majority of exits occurring within the first 2 months due to the intensity of the work environment.
