About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Telecom Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for alarm monitoring, alarm analysis, operation and maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple telecom nodes including RAN, Core CS, Core PS, IP, and IMS. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies spanning 2G to 5G, ensuring high service availability and excellent customer experience through proactive network management and rapid incident resolution.

What You Will Do

Monitor alarms and analyze network events to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues across RAN, Core CS, Core PS, IP, and IMS nodes.
Perform operation and maintenance activities including node health checks, backups, configuration changes, and fault management.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Ericsson baseband equipment and other telecom network elements.
Manage and resolve network incidents, ensuring timely restoration of services to meet SLAs and maintain a low Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Utilize alarm monitoring tools such as CITRIX, Putty, EMS, and Netcool for effective network surveillance.
Collaborate closely with field teams to handle hardware failures, node unreachable issues, and other field-related activities.
Follow ITSM ticketing procedures: actively supervise ticket queues, document incident details, actions taken, and resolutions.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors for issue escalation and resolution.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including system updates and preventive checks.
Adhere to and contribute to the improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Proactively detect potential failures and engage Incident Managers or automated systems to prevent or minimize service impact.
