Role Overview

As a Developer in the User Experience (UX) domain at SITA, you will focus on delivering the best possible experience for travelers. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver valuable software changes efficiently while using automation to improve productivity. You will also help mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement processes to streamline software development.

Key Responsibilities

Follow Best Practices: Adhere to coding guidelines, best practices, and technical processes in your development work.
Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers, helping them grow by assigning tasks suited to their skills.
Estimate Work: Collaborate with the team to estimate the size and scope of work required for upcoming tasks.
Sprint Commitment: Take responsibility for completing tasks within short sprint cycles.
Analyze Requirements: Participate in analyzing the requirements for designing new application features and system updates.
Code with Pride: Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Graduate in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with Drupal and PHP.
Technologies:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/ECMA Script, Ajax, JSON, REST.
- Experience with microservices in Drupal.
- Familiarity with Drupal production deployment strategies, DB migrations, and Production Environment configuration.
- Knowledge of Composer and Drush.
- Expertise in Drupal caching techniques and maintaining Drupal modules, sites, and themes.
- Proficient in Git flow, custom modules, updating hooks, and object-oriented design in PHP.
- Solid understanding of CSS, ECMA Script/JavaScript, JQuery, HTML.
- Experience in creating aesthetically pleasing web pages in collaboration with a UX team member.
- Awareness of multi-language support, internationalization, and security concerns in Drupal.
- Experience with version control (preferably GIT).
- Strong experience with relational databases, including creating and managing tables, queries, and indexes; MariaDB knowledge is a plus.
Collaboration: Able to work independently or as part of a team to deliver end-to-end solutions.
