About the Role

Due to Appfire's exponential growth, we are seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with Appfire’s business-class products and Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket in cloud and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Appfire Apps within the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies like SaaS, Virtual Environments, AWS, Azure, and Docker containers.
  • Apply System Administration/DevOps (CI/CD) skills to integrate Appfire apps and Atlassian tools.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior resources.
  • Analyze and resolve complex software issues (L1-L2-L3 support).
  • Utilize Groovy, JavaScript, or Python (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Take ownership of customer issues, driving them to resolution.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects, Leads, and Principals.
  • Work with customers and internal teams on escalated issues, gaining valuable insights.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a System/Application Support Engineer handling enterprise-class software.
  • 3+ years of experience as a System/Application Administrator working with global teams in a remote setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with scripting, databases, and system management.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • B.E/B.Tech or MCA (or equivalent qualification).
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products is highly desirable (great opportunity to gain Atlassian experience!).
