Role Summary

This role is for a hands-on engineering leader with deep expertise in developing large-scale, enterprise-level applications and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technical roadmap and engineering practices for runtime systems and site reliability engineering (SRE), particularly focused on our contact center and assisted servicing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sophisticated, scalable enterprise applications/tools with hands-on involvement in design, prototyping, and coding.
Define and drive runtime system and SRE technical roadmaps, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Automate demand-driven application deployments across test and production environments.
Collaborate with leadership to define and implement enterprise-level solutions and enhance software maturity.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to runtime and resiliency, driving continuous improvement.
Contribute technically through architecture design, code reviews, and by resolving complex technical challenges.
Design and implement frameworks that enhance engineering velocity, system resiliency, security, and data availability.
Develop common framework components for enterprise use, including standards for monitoring, configuration, and performance.
Participate in innovation initiatives and bring forward ideas that challenge the status quo.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
Demonstrated experience in designing highly available and critical enterprise applications.
Hands-on expertise in performance testing framework design and implementation.
Proficient with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and development workflows (iterations, user stories).
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
In-depth understanding of micro front-end architecture, performance optimization, and execution patterns.

Leadership Capabilities

Proven ability to balance technical expertise with people leadership, nurturing a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Skilled at managing geographically dispersed teams (including contractors).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
Able to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights and foster continuous improvement.
Adept at resolving service issues by leading identification, restoration, and long-term resolution strategies.
