Role Summary

As a Mobile Application Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing software applications. You will work with React Native to build seamless, pixel-perfect UIs for both iOS and Android platforms. You’ll collaborate with your team to ensure high-quality, efficient, and performant mobile applications, contributing to the future of education.

Key Responsibilities

UI Development: Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs for mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
Native Integrations: Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Bug Fixing & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure native-like performance.
Community Engagement: Contribute to the open-source community by helping implement software fixes for React Native.
Code Quality: Maintain code quality by writing automated tests and ensuring the highest product standards.
React Native Transition: Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Code Reviews: Participate in and conduct peer code reviews at various stages of development.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 6+ years of mobile application development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with React Native.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+ syntax).
- Familiarity with functional and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
- Experience with third-party dependencies and debugging.
- Familiarity with native build tools (e.g., XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ).
- Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, document request models, and offline storage.
- Experience with automated testing suites.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mobile development using React Native on both iOS and Android platforms.
