As a Senior Development Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring secure and robust AI/ML practices within the organization. You will lead initiatives related to AI security, risk management, and compliance while collaborating across departments to meet business and regulatory goals. Your work will focus on automating AI/ML security processes, conducting stress testing, and managing AI risk frameworks.
Organizational Context:
This position involves working across multiple internal and external organizations, leading cross-functional projects, and enhancing AI/ML security capabilities through automated processes and advanced risk management techniques.
1. AI/ML Security & Risk Management
Implement secure model development life cycle practices with automated white-box and black-box assessments for AI/ML models.
Deliver and integrate AI robustness, vulnerability, and stress testing capabilities with MLOps ecosystems.
Evaluate and assess open-source AI security libraries to build into enterprise AI stress testing and audit capabilities.
Implement end-to-end LLM security risk management processes and automated protections.
2. Development & Deployment
Support production deployments of AI/ML safety systems using cloud-native packaging and deployment techniques such as containers, serverless, CI/CD, and APIs.
Incorporate machine learning models into diverse application security tooling and processes.
Manage cloud deployments and automation frameworks for AI/ML security systems.
3. Process Optimization & Governance
Establish and govern AI/ML and Generative AI application security standards.
Provide production support and operations for AI/ML security systems.
Enhance operational efficiency by integrating AI workload management with DevOps and DataOps practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
3+ years of Development Operations experience.
3+ years of software engineering experience.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
Professional certifications in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
Strong knowledge of adversarial robustness techniques and AI Risk Management frameworks.
Experience with:
Designing and operationalizing AI/ML pipelines.
Public cloud deployments of AI/ML models.
Evaluating open-source ML tools and frameworks.
AI workload management and cloud architecture.
API integrations and secure data processing.
Contributing to peer-reviewed journals, conferences, or open-source projects.
