Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and support of our systems. The ideal candidate should be adept at project planning, coding, debugging, and documentation, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis

✔ Understand project vision and requirements
✔ Contribute to the creation of supplemental requirements
✔ Build low-level technical specifications for the platform/service solution

2. Project Planning, Tracking & Reporting

✔ Estimate tasks and resources required for design, development, and testing
✔ Assist in project planning, risk evaluation, and prioritization
✔ Ensure assigned modules stay on schedule and meet quality standards
✔ Track project progress and report updates to the team
✔ Participate in project review meetings

3. Design & Development

✔ Create Low-Level Design (LLD) with alternative solutions
✔ Ensure design meets business and technical requirements
✔ Develop high-priority and complex system code following best practices
✔ Use code management tools to maintain versioning integrity
✔ Conduct peer code reviews and recommend improvements

4. Testing & Debugging

✔ Attend Test Design walkthroughs for verifying plans and test conditions
✔ Perform impact analysis for assigned issues
✔ Assist with debugging and troubleshooting complex problems
✔ Escalate critical issues and contribute to problem resolution

5. Documentation & Process Management

✔ Review and update technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
✔ Maintain knowledge repositories for lessons learned and domain-specific developments
✔ Ensure adherence to SDLC, best practices, policies, and compliance requirements
✔ Follow audit and process management standards

Qualifications & Skills

✔ Technical expertise in system functionality, operations, and performance optimization
✔ Ability to mentor and build team skills through formal/informal training
✔ Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies
✔ Experience with coding standards, debugging, and performance improvements
✔ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
