Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Automation Test Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing test strategies for modern applications, APIs, and microservices across frontend and backend systems. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Define technical architecture and automation solutions for varied use cases.
Identify and implement enhancements to existing test frameworks and processes.
Guide cross-functional teams on solution scoping and effort estimation.
Support and mentor team members as a core engineering contributor in delivery cycles.
Provide hands-on expertise in API and UI automation using tools and languages such as:
- Java
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cucumber.js
Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and ensure delivery of high-quality systems.
Contribute to deployment strategies and monitor quality through application performance checks.
Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and bring new ideas to the table.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
(Master’s in Computer Applications or equivalent is also acceptable)
3 to 12 years of total software engineering experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in automation testing, including:
- API Automation
- UI Testing (Selenium, Playwright)
- Test frameworks (Cucumber.js)
Strong understanding of:
- Automation for frontend, middleware, and microservices
- Deployment processes and quality monitoring tools
- Change management and DevOps integration
