About the Role

Menlo Security is seeking a Principal Engineer (Frontend) to join our team in Bangalore. You will be a technical leader and mentor, driving the architecture, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of management portals for our world-class remote browser technology.

You will be working on desktop and mobile platforms, supporting millions of users globally. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 3-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

???? Technical Leadership & Mentorship

Guide and mentor the Frontend team in best practices, architecture, and design.
Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and debug complex issues.

???? Frontend Development & Architecture

Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications.
Ensure the use of modern frontend development practices, including UI/UX principles.

???? Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to develop seamless user experiences.
Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders for project alignment.

???? Agile & Best Practices

Follow Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for efficient development cycles.
Optimize frontend applications for performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ Frontend Expertise

10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on frontend technologies.
Deep understanding of TypeScript, including its type system and advanced features.
Extensive experience with Angular 2+ and modern frontend frameworks.

✔ Web Development & UI/UX Best Practices

Strong knowledge of modern frontend development, including testing (Jest), build tools (Webpack), and API integration (RESTful APIs).
Experience designing and implementing scalable web application architectures.

✔ Leadership & Collaboration

Proven experience in leading and mentoring software development teams.
Ability to own code end-to-end and drive best practices in previous organizations.

✔ Agile & Problem-Solving Mindset

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing environments.

✔ Education & Communication Skills

BE/BTech required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
