The Opportunity

We are looking for a Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support Sapaad’s suite of applications and services. You will work on creating a scalable, reliable, and efficient platform to enable smooth development, deployment, and operation.

As a key player in our DevOps and infrastructure team, you will lead projects to design and build powerful DevOps platforms with robust CI/CD workflows, allowing engineers to configure and manage their infrastructure independently.

Key Responsibilities

???? Infrastructure Management

Set up and manage hardware and software infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.

???? Automation & DevOps

Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

???? CI/CD Pipelines

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery.

???? Monitoring & Performance Optimization

Monitor platform health and performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system reliability.

???? Security & Compliance

Ensure platform security by managing access controls and implementing best practices against security threats.

???? Collaboration & Support

Work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide necessary infrastructure.

???? Version Control & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Implement version control systems and maintain infrastructure configurations through IaC principles.

???? Disaster Recovery & Backup

Develop strategies for disaster recovery and regular backups to ensure business continuity.

???? Scalability Planning

Design scalable infrastructure to handle growing workloads and demand.

???? Documentation

Maintain detailed documentation of platform architecture, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ Infrastructure & Cloud Expertise

Strong experience with IaaS cloud services (preferably AWS)
Key AWS Services:
- EKS, EC2, ECR, ECS, Lambda, Fargate
- API Gateway, Route 53, VPC, ELB, RDS, ElastiCache

✔ Automation & DevOps

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and configuration management systems

✔ Technical Proficiency

Unix systems & shell scripting
Proficiency in monitoring tools and system optimization

✔ Problem-Solving & Project Management

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines

✔ Collaboration & Communication

Ability to work effectively in a global, diverse team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
