Position: Phonics Teacher (Remote)
Job Type: Part-time, Contractual/Temporary, Freelance (12 months contract length)
Pay: ₹200 - ₹300 per hour
Schedule: Evening shift (3 PM - 9 PM, 3-4 hours daily, Monday-Saturday)

Learn2Read is a fast-growing EdTech startup specializing in online education for early learners. With a team of 80+ passionate professionals, we focus on building a strong educational foundation for young children (ages 3-8). Our goal is to move away from rote learning and introduce meaningful, lifelong learning experiences.

About the Role

We are seeking a Phonics Teacher who is creative, has excellent English communication skills, and can engage young learners in a fun and interactive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Master the Learn2Read teaching module.
Deliver interactive and engaging sessions for children aged 3-8 years.
Use creative props and ideas to make learning fun.
Collaborate with the Learn2Read team and share regular student progress updates.
Maintain accurate records of each child's learning journey.

Requirements

Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree required).
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (Kindergarten, Pre-primary, or children aged 3-8 years).
- Phonics teaching experience is mandatory.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of phonics (including long vowels, short vowels, tricky words, segmenting, and blending sounds).
- Phonics certification (Jolly Phonics preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for early childhood education.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Technical Requirements:
- A laptop with a minimum 100 Mbps internet speed.
