Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Tutor to teach students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 in an online setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in science and be committed to helping students grasp key concepts in a clear and engaging manner. The tutor will conduct interactive lessons using a pen tablet to facilitate effective learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to students in Grades 6 to 10.
  • Conduct 3 hours of tutoring sessions per day, Monday to Saturday, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
  • Utilize a pen tablet to provide clear, interactive explanations of scientific concepts.
  • Track student progress and offer constructive feedback.
  • Prepare customized lesson plans and materials tailored to individual student needs.
  • Be patient, approachable, and responsive to student queries.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to students in Grades 6 to 10.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Teaching degree or equivalent qualifications.
    • Prior experience with online teaching platforms.
    • Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for students in Grades 6 to 10.
    • Availability to work 3 hours daily, Monday to Saturday, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
    • Access to a pen tablet for interactive online teaching.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for conducting online sessions.
