About the Role:

As a Measurement & Analyser Systems (M&AS) Engineer, you’ll support our upstream production assets by providing expert engineering solutions related to fiscal and non-fiscal metering and measurement systems. You’ll collaborate within a multi-disciplinary regional squad to ensure high standards in measurement accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

???? Technical Expertise & Design

  • Provide M&AS expertise across upstream operations and site projects

  • Design and size meters per bp and international standards (API, ISO)

  • Conduct measurement uncertainty analysis and resolve mismeasurement issues

???? System Performance & Assurance

  • Monitor KPIs to identify M&AS equipment issues

  • Ensure custody transfer, allocation, and environmental measurements meet regulatory & commercial requirements

???? Operational & Maintenance Support

  • Support installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of measurement systems

  • Develop and update maintenance plans and operational procedures

  • Perform risk assessments (HAZOPs, HAZIDs, LOPAs, etc.) especially for analyser systems

???? Compliance & Cybersecurity

  • Ensure M&AS systems meet cyber security standards

  • Assist Senior Engineers in meeting regulatory and commercial compliance


Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

???? Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (required)
???? Professional accreditation (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in measurement engineering or science

  • 8–12 years total experience with upstream/midstream/refining companies or EPCs


Must-Have Skills & Experience:

✅ Knowledge of API and ISO measurement/analyser standards
✅ Understanding of fluid dynamics and multi-phase flow
✅ Experience working in interdisciplinary engineering environments
✅ Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills


Preferred (Trainable) Skills:

➕ Use of statistical tools for measurement uncertainty
➕ Familiarity with hydrocarbon accounting techniques
➕ Experience with remote team collaboration
➕ Risk and contractor performance management
