Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facility equipment. Responsibilities include repair requests, safety maintenance (fire systems & alarms), and emergency maintenance tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and expertise in building systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Perform major repairs & installations involving electrical, mechanical, and construction systems, interpreting schematics/blueprints.
✔ Troubleshoot drive-related issues with Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other controllers.
✔ Determine root causes of failures and recommend preventive actions. Document findings through work order systems.
✔ Communicate consistently with internal teams about equipment status.
✔ Advise supervisors on service needs and coordinate with service representatives.
✔ Draft sketches for mechanical/electrical alterations and prepare material estimates.
✔ Operate material handling equipment, such as hoists, carts, lifts, forklifts, and hand trucks.
✔ Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) safety procedures as per the plant's guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

???? Education:
✔ Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

???? Experience:
✔ 4+ years of experience in schematic & blueprint interpretation
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
✔ Strong interpersonal & troubleshooting skills

???? Other Requirements:
✔ Valid State driver’s license
✔ Fully on-site position

Key Competencies

???? Ability to troubleshoot & repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and CNC machines.
???? Capability to work with limited technical prints & specifications.
???? Maintain technical documentation for equipment & processes.
???? Experience with lathe, grinders, mills, drills, machining centers, and similar tools.
???? Strong understanding of schematics and blueprints.
???? Teamwork-oriented mindset.

⚠ Physical Requirements:
✔ Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift
✔ Ability to lift 35 lbs alone or 70 lbs with assistance
✔ Ability to push/pull 35 lbs
✔ Vision correction up to 20/35 if needed
